It was quite the popular present. We were all surprised that Kennedy sat still enough. She barely moved an inch. Afterwards Kennedy would show her polished nails and say "Patty did it" and then sing the "Happy Birthday to you" song. The problem is that none of the kids like this cake. My sister Shelly says this cake is 8 months short of a fruit cake and I'd say that's an accurate statement. None of the kids would even eat it when we were little, and we would eat anything including, apparently, sticks of butter! Dad, on the other hand, craves the cake. He loves it! <br/> <br/> <img src="http://www.sanfordanderson.com/sprout/kssa213.jpg"/> <br/> <br/>Turns out Kennedy likes the cake too. Go figure... Here's Papa feeding her yet another piece of cake. <br/> <br/> <img src="http://www.sanfordanderson.com/sprout/kssa214.jpg"/> <br/> <br/>Papa finally asked Shelly to get Kennedy her own piece of cake. She would eat a piece, go play and then come back and say "I need that" and point to the cake. He's turned in to quite the tennis player, singer and is something of a braniac.
